The beautiful village is located just 1.5 km from the centre of Castellina in Chianti, in the heart of the Chianti Classico area, and consists of three houses and a small, still consecrated church. The hamlet is surrounded by woods and is situated in a hilly position which offers splendid views of the surrounding landscape and of the village of Castellina in Chianti. The exposure is excellent, with the sun from sunrise to sunset. The main house is currently used as a tourist accommodation and has 16 bedrooms and bathrooms; on the ground floor there are large living rooms, the kitchen and the beautiful cellar dug into the rock. From the living rooms you access the loggia and the beautiful panoramic terrace, both equipped for outdoor lunches and dinners enjoying a fantastic view. A little further down is the pool area with solarium and pool house which could be converted into a small apartment or used as a relaxation area or bar area. Inside the main house there is also an independent apartment with living room, two bedrooms and a bathroom. The still consecrated church is located in front of the main house. Adjacent to the church there is a beautiful outbuilding which has a living room, kitchen, three double bedrooms and three bathrooms on the first floor, while the ground floor is used for storage. A little further away from these buildings is located another beautiful outbuilding which has just been renovated in a modern style. On the ground floor there is a living room, kitchen, two double bedrooms and two bathrooms; on the first floor there are two further double bedrooms and two bathrooms. This outbuilding enjoys a spectacular view of the village of Castellina in Chianti. At the edge of the property there are vineyards and an olive grove from which you can produce your own wine and extra virgin olive oil.

Location Description

The property is located just 1.5 km from Castellina in Chianti, in the heart of the Chianti Classico area. It can be accessed from two private roads both with gates. In a few kilometres it is possible to reach restaurants, bars, supermarkets, shops, pharmacies, banks, post offices and all essential services. The property is surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and woods, typical of the area. In the immediate vicinity are the renowned Chianti wineries, the medieval villages of San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, Barberino Val d'Elsa, Radda and Greve in Chianti. The property is located in a very strategic area, in fact the highway is only 12 km away. Florence and Siena are about 30 minutes away by car. The closest airport is that of Florence but those of Pisa and Bologna are also easily reachable in about an hour and a half and Rome Fiumicino and Milan in about three hours.
